According to Indian media Anandabazar, a case of KK’s unnatural death was filed at the New Market police station in Kolkata on Wednesday (June 1) morning. The police will look into the matter of his death. The manager of the five-star hotel in Kolkata where he was staying is also being questioned.
The case of unnatural death has been filed by his companions who came to sing with KK in Kolkata. After filing the case, New Market police started investigation. Many in the hotel have been questioned. CCTV footage is also being examined. Local media reported that the autopsy of the star would also start on Wednesday morning.
Earlier, the singer felt sick after singing several songs on Nazrul Mancha on Tuesday evening. He later asked them to turn off the spot lights during the ceremony. He also rested on the back stage during the break. From there go back to the hotel. He later fell ill and was taken to hospital, but was not rescued. However, there are signs of injuries on the forehead and lips of his body, which has created a mystery.
