POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Nov 19, 2021 : Purnima: Shall I call Babu now?
Chanchal Chowdhury: There is no problem you can call. (Laughter of the two)
That was the beginning of Purnima and Chanchal Chowdhury’s episode of ‘Big Mancha Star’ dedicated to Hatil. At the beginning of the conversation, Chanchal revealed the secret of calling ‘Babu’. ‘We worked on a big project together. Then it becomes fun to talk. ‘
Purnima: Our baby but not the type you ate. Our Babu is different.
Purnima and Chanchal Chowdhury said at the same time, ‘We have been calling each other Babu for a long time.’
Chanchal Chowdhury: Our Babu is old and old Babu.
Purnima: Not at all. We are still young babui.
The chatter became frozen in the naughtiness of the two stars. At one point Purnima went from friend to conductor. ‘TV, movies and OTT platforms তোম you can be seen everywhere. How do you do that? ‘
Purnima’s question to Chanchal. At the moment Chanchal also became a guest. ‘I’m not doing so much. But if you do good deeds selectively, the visitors will remember you for a long time. I do very little work. I have been working on the OTT platform a bit lately, ‘said Chanchal Chowdhury.
Purnima wants to know her work experience in ‘Bangabandhu’ biopic. Chanchal says, ‘I have experience working with many great directors in the country. This is my first experience of working with Shyam Benegal, a director of international standard, and acting in Mumbai. Earlier, I went to Kolkata and acted in the movie “Manner Manush” with Gautam Ghosh. I used to work in the country. Then I went to Calcutta and worked. Then Mumbai. I understand the difference. Especially organizing and technical matters. Huge event in Mumbai, big deal. We do not find that arrangement in the work of Bangladesh. The budget we have worked on is one hundred and fifty times more than the budget of Mumbai Industries. The arrangement is worth watching. And secondly, the opportunity to act in ‘Bangabandhu’ biopic is a huge achievement in my life. In the movie, I played the role of Bangabandhu’s father. Sheikh Lutfar Rahman is my character. ‘
Asked what percentage of the biopic has been done, Chanchal said, “It’s hard for me to say. Maybe 80 percent is over, 40 percent is left. The Mumbai part of the biopic has been completed. Work on the Bangladesh part will start very soon. Earlier it was said that the work of Bangladesh part will be shooting in our country. Due to Kovid, some shooting of Bangladesh part has been done in Mumbai. For example, Bangabandhu’s house in Tungipara was set and shooting was done there. Now that Kovid has been reduced, there will be more shootings in and around Dhaka.
