Divisional Railway Manager Shafiqur Rahman told reporters at Kamalapur railway station on Friday (December 22) afternoon.
The trains are- Uttara Express on Rajshahi-Parvatipur route, Ishwardi to Rahanpur, Dhaka to Narayanganj, Mymensingh to Bhuapur local train and a train from Jamalpur to Sarishabari.
Railway Manager Shafiqur Rahman said that 2,700 Ansar members have been deployed for railway security across the country. Various district commandants have deployed Ansar from district to district. Since the pattern of sabotage has changed, we have got 2,700 Ansar members. They are already deployed.
We are patrolling the tracks as a result of sabotage of political programs. Along with this, Railway security forces are watching their installations. He said that the railway police is looking after the security issues with the help of law enforcement and local administration.
