There were fears about this year’s election of the artists’ association. So there were several levels of security around the election. Actor Simon Sadiq first set foot in the FDC on election day outside the law enforcement agencies. Gradually, the courtyard of BFDC started to be full of stars. However, the candidates and star voters have missed many of their star friends, colleagues and loved ones in this election. Some were out of the country, others were in the country but did not come to vote due to increased coronary heart disease. On the other hand, actors like Dolly Zahur said that he came from outside the country to vote for the Artists’ Association.

Dolly Zahur came to vote with Sharmili Ahmed and Dilara Zaman. Senior actress Mirana Zaman also came to vote in this election. The day-long FDC polls, which were held at the FDC, were marred by tensions and allegations; There was also festival-anxiety. In the end, the voting went smoothly without any untoward incident.

At other times of the year, the movie stars who are not seen coming to FDC, also come once on this day. Chat with artists you haven’t met in a long time. Spoke. Trying to know the good and the bad. Filmmaker Ferdous was seen with stage-television and film actor Zahid Hasan as such an occasion was created on this day of voting of the Film Artists Association.

While entering the FDC for voting, Ferdous saw Zahid Hasan’s car and stood in front and spoke. Addressing Zahid, Ferdous said, ‘Brother, not the vote; Brother Zahid, give me love. I want you as a younger brother. ‘ At that time Zahid Hasan smiled and said to Ferdous, ‘Little brother, my love for you will never end. This love will continue, will continue. ‘

The tension between the Ilyas Kanchan-Nipun and Misha-Zayed panels that erupted a few days before the polls in this year’s election of the Bangladesh Film Artists Association was much less than on the day of the polls. However, the rival panel was accused of breaking the rules. Before the lunch break, Nipun suddenly accused Zayed Khan of his opposition panel of collecting votes with money. Zaid also said that a candidate from Nipun’s panel was collecting votes with money. But at that time some tension spread. When the matter came to the notice of the Election Commission more than once, they sent people and removed the candidates of the two panels.

This election was more of an exception than other times. The entrance was quite strict. Due to this, the environment inside the EFDC was much more complex than it was outside. For this reason, the star artists have expressed their relief by voting without any hindrance. Leaving the polling station at around 3.30 pm, actress Bubli said, ‘I like it. I voted comfortably. There has been a lot of tension among the candidates.

In the afternoon, sitting at the Manna Digital Complex, Nayak Alamgir said about the voting environment, ‘Voting took place in a beautiful environment. This is a good thing. ‘ Anwara, Zahid Hasan, Asaduzzaman Nur, Nutan, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Amin Khan, Apu Biswas, Vidya Sinha Mim, Bobby, Bappi, Mukti, Simla, Dighi and others came to vote.

Voting started at 9 am yesterday but continued till 11 pm. Voter turnout continues to increase as the day progresses. Voters went to the office of the Artists’ Association along the road next to the garden and the 1st floor of the FDC and cast their votes. Voting ends at 5 p.m. Out of 426 voters, 365 cast their votes.
