The Prime Minister unveiled the plaque of the bridge at Mawa end of Munshiganj at around 12 noon today. And through this opened an endless door of connection, communication and potential for 21 districts of the south and south-west with the capital Dhaka and other parts of the country.
Today, on the occasion of the inauguration of the bridge, the festival has started at both ends of the bridge. The big rally is going to be held at 12 noon, at Kanthalbari in Shibcher, Madaripur. But before that, people started descending there from dawn.
