POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Mar 28, 2022 : Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that the country’s only elite force Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has brought relief to the people by conducting successful operations against top militants in the past and present. The role of RAB is undeniable in the recent successful operations of the law enforcement agencies in the fight against militancy in the light of the zero tolerance policy and strategy of the Hon’ble Prime Minister.
Today, Monday (March 26) morning, on the occasion of the 18th founding anniversary of the RAB forces, Kurmitola RAB headquarters martyr Lt. The Home Minister said this while addressing a special guest at Colonel Azad Memorial Hall.
The Home Minister said Bangladesh today is a role model of development to the world under the able leadership of the Prime Minister.
Maintaining law and order is a very important issue, which is a prerequisite for development. The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), the only elite force in the country, has already become a force of public confidence in maintaining public safety.
The minister said RAB has liberated the country from the aggression of extremists. As a result of anti-militant operations, the common man has got security. The rights of the masses have been established. The security of the people of the country has been enhanced through the suppression of militancy. Social security and stability exist through the suppression of terrorism, extortion, looting, robbery and piracy.
