POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Aug 10, 2022: Temperatures across the country have started to drop. The heatwave has been rising since yesterday. The temperature will drop in the next few days and rain will increase in coastal areas. Also, the Meteorological Department has asked the country’s seaports to display warning signal number 3 due to the fear of stormy winds due to the low pressure created on the coast of the Bay of Bengal.
Today, Wednesday (10 August), the Bangladesh Meteorological Department announced this information in the weather forecast for the next 24 hours.
The Meteorological Office also said that the low pressure over the Bay of Bengal has weakened and turned into a distinct low pressure. This will increase the tidal water by two to three feet compared to normal time. The ocean tides are now and will be higher than normal.
According to the forecast, heavy rainfall will occur in Khulna, Barisal and Chittagong divisions as a result of low pressure in the sea. And there will be rain in some places of other divisions. Rainfall trend may continue especially in southern parts of the country and day and night temperatures will drop slightly.
