POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Mar 6, 2022 : Hundreds of people crowded the village field. A helicopter landed in front of them. Rakib Hasan (28), a village boy, got down from there. He is accompanied by his foreign wife Alyssa Theodora. Elias Hasan has a six-month-old son in his wife’s lap.

The incident took place at a field near Kagashura Bazar in Charbaria Union of Barisal Sadar Upazila on Saturday. Rakib’s father Shahidul Islam, mother Nasreen Jahan and relatives welcomed the boy, son’s wife and grandson. They were then taken home in a horse-drawn carriage.

Shahidul Islam’s home is in Ulalbatna village. He is the president of Charbaria Union Awami League.

Family members said Shahidul Islam had previously been an Italian expatriate. Rakib went to Italy with his father in 2011. From there he went to Germany in 2012. Rakib worked for a company there. A few years ago, he met Alyssa Theodora, a young German woman. In this way, after getting acquainted, love is between them. Rakib and Alyssa got married on March 15, 2020. Although people from Kanepaksha were present at the wedding held in a distant land, none of the bridegroom could take part. Rakib wanted, Within a few days of the wedding to come to the country with the bride to celebrate the ceremony. But his desire was not hindered by the epidemic. They are waiting. In those days, Rakib-Alyssa couple had a beautiful baby boy on their lap. The wait is over for so many days. Rakib returned home from Germany last Friday with his wife and six-month-old son. Then yesterday afternoon he flew to Barisal by helicopter. March 9 will be their day. Bouvat has been organized on March 11.

Rakib’s wife Alyssa Theodora is a nurse by profession. Alyssa is accompanied by a German girlfriend.

Rakib is the eldest of Shahidul Islam’s two sons and daughters. He said, ‘After liking Alisa, Rakib informed us. Later in the video call we see the bride and agree to the marriage.

Shahidul Islam further said, ‘I could not organize any ceremony on the occasion of my son’s marriage. There was regret. So I have organized a wedding on March 11 at home. However, hundreds of people have been coming home since yesterday to see the boy’s wife. They are being made sweet. ‘

The Rakib-Alyssa couple had to live under various restrictions in Germany due to Corona. Rakib Hasan said, ‘I was overwhelmed by the restrictions. Apart from that, the grandparents were anxious to see the boy. At last their hopes were fulfilled. ‘

Rakib further said, ‘We set the date of the wedding anniversary to come to the country. That’s how I came to leave. I can’t say what I liked after setting foot on the soil of the country. Alyssa first came to Bangladesh. He is fascinated by the environment, the sincerity and the hospitality of the people. ‘
