POBNEWS24, Dhaka Feb 10, 2023 : A rescue team of Bangladesh Fire Service and Civil Defense arrived in earthquake-hit Turkey to join search and rescue operations. This was informed in a press release sent by the media wing of the Fire Service and Civil Defense on Friday (February 10).
According to the notification, a team of 12 members of the fire service for rescue work in Turkey arrived at Adana Airport after a 24-hour flight with the rescue team of the Bangladesh Army. From there they went by bus to Adiaman, a distance of 350 km.
Last Wednesday, Director General of Fire Service and Civil Defense Brigadier General. Main Uddin said in a press briefing that a 12-member expert team including five fire service officers will go to Turkey.
