He said that the holy Lailatul Barat has come among us with the message of Ramadan and the arrival of good fortune. In the subcontinent, Shabe Barat is mainly celebrated as a night of good fortune. This holy night brings immense opportunity for special grace and forgiveness of Allah Ta’ala.
This was stated by the President in his message on the occasion of ‘Holy Shabe Barat’ on Friday (March 16).
Referring to Islam as a religion of peace and welfare, the President said, “The noble ideal of Islam is our path for the welfare of man in this world and liberation in the hereafter.”
He further said that Barat is a glorious and blessed night for Muslims. On this occasion, he congratulated the entire Muslim Ummah including the countrymen.
The President said, “On this auspicious night, we pray to Almighty Allah for infinite mercy and blessings, as well as for the continued progress, welfare and greater unity of the Muslim Ummah.” May the full blessings of the blessed Shabe Barat be showered on us.
Referring to the epidemic, he said that as a result of the steps taken by the government to deal with the global corona situation, corona infection in Bangladesh has now come down a lot. However, it is very important to follow proper hygiene rules and ensure social distance.
