When asked whether the 69,000 Rohingyas in Saudi Arabia were being given Bangladeshi passports, the Saudi ambassador said that this is a very sensitive issue. They are Bangladeshi passport holders. We are in talks with the Bangladesh government to renew their passports. We will not send them back, we have only requested passport renewal for the legal process.
Saudi Arabia has gifted Bangladesh 100 tons of dates on the occasion of the upcoming month of Ramadan. On this occasion, the Saudi Embassy in Dhaka organized a program on Wednesday.
