POBNEWS24, Dhaka Aug 5, 2023 : Awami League president Sheikh Hasina has called the leaders of the country ahead of the election. He will sit with them at Ganabhaban on Sunday (August 6). It is also known that he will listen to everyone and give directions for the upcoming elections.
Awami League has informed that a special extended meeting of the party will be held at Ganobhaban, the official residence of the Prime Minister on Sunday (August 6) at 10:30 am. It will be chaired by Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. It includes the National Committee of Awami League, Central Executive Parliament, Advisory Council members, District/Metropolitan and Upazila/Thana/Paur (Municipalities located in the district headquarters) President-General Secretary of Awami League, Party Members of National Parliament, Party Chairman of Zilla Parishad and Upazila Parishad, Party mayors of city corporations and municipalities and central presidents and general secretaries of allied organizations will be present.
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader requested all concerned to attend the meeting on time.
Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has taken special measures to keep traffic in Dhaka city normal on the occasion of special extended meeting. As per the instructions of DMP, the leaders invited to the special extended meeting to be held at Ganobhaban will enter through Gate No. 1 through Lake Road of Jatiya Sangsad to commemorate the victory.
The private cars of the participants in the meeting should be parked at the designated place (ground adjacent to Bangabandhu International Conference Center) as per the instructions of DMP Police. The general secretary of Awami League requested all concerned to follow the instructions of DMP.
