POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Apr 17, 2022 : After two days, the tendency of storm-rain may increase in different parts of the country, said the Meteorological Department. Meanwhile, the heat has increased. Mild heat waves are blowing over different parts of the country, there is discomfort of scorching heat.
It rained only in Sylhet for 24 hours from 8 am on Saturday to 8 am on Sunday.
At that time the amount of rain was 11 millimeters. However, at that time the sky was cloudy in different parts of the country except Dhaka. Aries have been seen in the sky of Dhaka since Sunday morning. And because of the clouds, the sun is less visible.
Meteorologist AKM Nazmul Haque said that in the next 24 hours from 9 am on Sunday, some places in Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions and one or two places in Rangpur division including Kishoreganj and Brahmanbaria districts may experience temporary gusts or thundershowers. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will be mostly dry with partly cloudy skies.
The meteorological office also said that day and night temperatures across the country may remain almost unchanged at this time.
Nazmul Haque said that mild heat wave is blowing over Rajshahi, Pabna and Jessore region and it may continue. Highlighting the weather conditions for the next 72 hours (3 days), he said that towards the end of this period, the tendency of rain or thunderstorms may increase.
The lowest temperature in the country on Sunday morning was in Sylhet, 19.5 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was 36.3 degrees Celsius in Rajshahi.
