Putin said the constructive bilateral cooperation between Bangladesh and Russia is undoubtedly in line with the interests of the people of the two countries and the development of regional stability and security. Putin stressed that relations between the two countries are based on a good tradition of friendship and mutual respect.
Putin wished the President and Prime Minister of Bangladesh good health and success, as well as happiness and prosperity for all citizens of Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, the President of the Russian Federal Assembly Valentina I. Matvienko sent messages to the Speaker of the National Assembly Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury and the Chief Justice of Russia Vyacheslav M Lebedev to the Chief Justice Hassan Fayez Siddiqui wishing them a happy Independence Day.
