No one can be present at the National Memorial in Savar except the designated person during the wreath-laying ceremony of the President-Prime Minister.
This was stated in an official statement on Wednesday (December 15).
It said that on the occasion of ‘Great Victory Day-2021’, the President-Prime Minister will lay a wreath at the National Memorial on Thursday (December 16) at sunrise.
Due to Covid-19, a limited number of officials and individuals will be present during the wreath-laying ceremony of the President-Prime Minister.
Among them, only Minister for Liberation War, State Minister for Housing and Public Works, Secretary for Ministry of Liberation War and Housing and Public Works, GOC of 9th Infantry Division, Dhaka Divisional Commissioner and Dhaka Deputy Commissioner will be present.
