POBNEWS24,Dhaka July 24, 2022 : Referring to the recipe for eating fish skewers, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, ‘We are Bengali with fish and rice. May we live as Bengalis in this fish and rice. Fishbones are a problem. Many people do not want to eat fish.

But if processed, this fork can be eaten soft. ‘

He said this at the celebration of ‘National Fisheries Week-2022’ and awarding of ‘National Fisheries Medal-2022’ at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in the capital on Sunday (July 24). He joined the program through video conference from the Prime Minister’s official residence Ganabhaban.

The Prime Minister said, ‘Fish can be eaten soft. It is not very difficult, even you can do it at home. If you cook fish in pressure cooker for 1 hour and 10 minutes, the fish will become tender. Fish will remain as fish; But the thorn will soften. You can feed it to children too. There is no problem with that. So this is what we do. I also gave a little recipe. So that you do not have the problem of thorns in your house. Especially hilsa fish takes a little longer, sea fish. Other fish are done in less time. ‘

Sheikh Hasina said, ‘We have achieved self-sufficiency in freshwater fish production. The safest nutrition comes from fish. That is not made of meat. The habitat of the fish, i.e. creating the sanctuary, should be looked at. Good flow of water, taking care not to pollute the water. We can now produce more fish than we need. ‘

The head of government said, ‘If we do this kind of industry, with this pressure, the fish bones will be soft, the fish will remain as it is. In this way, if we can can, process and export to the country and abroad, many countries of the world will take this fish. ‘

The Prime Minister also said, ‘We can manufacture and export various fish products. I think our new generation will come forward. As there will be employment, unemployment in the country will be eliminated. At the same time, the country will also get exportable products. And the internal needs of the country will also be met. Therefore, I believe that we can take our country further in that way. ‘

Sheikh Hasina said, ‘The country will move forward. We have faith in the people. People are with us. The father of the nation has said that no one can control Bangladesh. No one can keep in chess. By overcoming the obstacles that prevented the Padma Bridge and building this bridge with our own funds, we have conveyed the message to the world that Bangladesh can. we can too Everyone stay healthy. Have a nice life. Process this fish or meanwhile everyone come forward. ‘

At the event, seven organizations were awarded gold medals for their special contribution to the fisheries sector. Minister of Agriculture gave the gold medal on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Abdur Razzaq.
