POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Jan 4, 2025 : After two days, the sun has broken through the fog in Dhaka. Although there has been dense fog since the morning, the fog is decreasing somewhat due to the smile of the sun. Relief is returning to the city’s public life. Today, the daytime temperature may increase and the cold may decrease slightly.
The Meteorological Office said that the lowest temperature recorded in Dhaka on Saturday (January 4) was 13 degrees Celsius. However, the temperature in Dhaka yesterday, Friday, was 13.6 degrees Celsius.
Meteorologist Abul Kalam Mallick told Jago News, “The thickness of the fog has decreased as the sun rises. People will feel relieved by the warmth of the sun. The sun may rise tomorrow too. However, there will be dense fog.”
The forecast for the next 24 hours from 9 am on Saturday said that moderate to dense fog is likely to occur across the country from midnight to morning and may continue in some places till noon. Due to dense fog, air traffic, internal transport and road communication may be temporarily disrupted.
He said that the daytime temperature in Dhaka today may increase by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius.
