POBNEWS24, April 27, 2022 : At present, Bangladesh is not satisfied with the low and almost non-fatal situation of Novel Coronavirus (Cavid-19) infection. Nili Kydos Daniel, country director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Bangladesh, made the remarks at a press conference at the American Center in Dhaka on Wednesday.

According to the UNB news agency, Neely Kaydos insisted on adhering to the rules of hygiene, including wearing a Daniel mask. He also advised to make all kinds of preparations to deal with the situation.

The CDC’s country director said the world is at risk of a fourth wave of epidemics. However, the wave may not be as intense as before. In the meantime, it is believed that ‘hard immunity’ has been created in the body of many people. Many people have also been vaccinated. That is why even if the fourth wave comes, there is less fear of it becoming intense.

The CDC’s country director warned of a greater danger than Kavid. He said there was a bigger danger ahead than Corona. Indiscriminate use of antibiotics poses dire risks. Not only in Bangladesh, antibiotics are being used all over the world.

“The time will come when antibiotics will no longer work,” he said. Then even if you cut your hand a little, you can die. The world will then go back to the era before the discovery of antibiotics. ‘

The US CDC is working closely with the Government Institute of Pathology, Disease Control and Research in Bangladesh (IEDCR) and the International Center for Diarrhea Research, Bangladesh (ICDDR, B). CDC has previously worked with these two organizations to identify the Nipah virus.

Another 23 people were identified as Kavid

23 new Kavids have been identified in the country. In all, the number of people identified as Kavid is 19 lakh 52 thousand 625 people. Although Kavid was identified, no one was killed in the last 24 hours. So far 29,126 people have died in Kavida in the country. The Department of Health said in a press release today.

In the last 24 hours, the detection rate in the sample test is 0.48 percent. So far, the detection rate is 13.96 percent considering the sample test. The recovery rate was 96.02 percent and the mortality rate was 1.49 percent.

On March 6, 2020, the first case of coronavirus was identified in the country. Ten days later, on March 17, the first person to die of corona.
