POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Nov 11, 2022 : The dispute between former US President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has become public. Trump attacked Ron DeSantis on Thursday night local time.
The Florida governor won a second term by a wide margin, the BBC reported. Trump called him a ‘mediocre’ politician.
Ron even claimed to have achieved this success under his (Trump’s) patronage.
Ron DeSantis has emerged as one of the biggest rising stars of the Republican Party in the US midterm elections. Along with that, he has emerged as a challenge for Donald Trump.
In a statement warning Ron DeSantis, Trump said Ron “desperately” stood up to Trump in 2017 during his first term.
Donald Trump said Ron had low support, was doing poorly in the polls and had no money. But he said, if I support him, he can win. I also managed his (DeSantis’) election campaign, which was about to collapse.
Trump also said DeSantis was ‘playing games’ by refusing to withdraw from his bid to run for president in 2024. If he does, he will be defeated.
