This is the first project of the actress’ production company Eternal Sunshine. Apart from this, Alia’s much awaited film ‘Brahmastra’ is awaiting release in September. The ‘Ranlia’ pair will be seen for the first time in the film. All in all, Alia Bhatt spoke to Prothom Alo’s Mumbai representative. Alia said with a smile, ‘Now I am indulging my tongue a little. If I want to eat something, I eat Bindas. This is how I eat chaat now. Yogurt, panipuri – I eat whatever my heart desires. But I’m bored of eating French fries.’
But wherever Alia goes in the world, ‘Dal-Chaul (Dal-Rice)’ is her favorite food. He was in London for the shooting of the Hollywood film ‘Heart of Stone’ for three months. At that time he missed ‘Dal-Chawl’ the most. Later, one would cook him home-made food and feed him. Alia thoroughly enjoyed it.
Ranveer and Alia’s married life definitely comes up in this chat of Shravan. Wanted to know the much-discussed question – how much has Ranveer changed after marriage? In reply, Alia said, ‘The Ranveer I have known for a long time is the same Ranveer. After marriage, there was no special change in him. But now he is paying more attention to me. Always support. Anyone who has worked with him in the industry would say the same. There is nothing star-like about him on set. Ranveer always arrives on set on time.’
Alia is going to present a different film like ‘Darlings’ as a producer for the first time. Talking about his debut as a producer, he said, ‘I want to bring projects that people will be interested in watching. I took a lot of advice from father (Mahesh Bhatt) in this regard. Sister Shaheen is also helping with the production company. As an actor, I used to worry only about my character for so long. Now we have to know about various things behind the camera. I will give opportunities to new actors, writers, directors through my production company.’
Alia’s Hollywood project ‘Heart of Stone’ is being discussed for a long time. About the difference between Bollywood and Hollywood work, he said, ‘The style of work in Hollywood is different. Work is done at breakneck speed there. No break is given between 10 hours of continuous shooting. Everyone, including Hollywood stars like Gal Gadot, looked after me on the sets. I have always received a warm welcome from Cheek. He is a very cheerful and lively person.’
