POBNEWS24, Dhaka July 10, 2024 : The 969th session of the seminar on Bangabandhu’s biography was held on Tuesday evening. Janipop’s founding chairman Prof. Dr. Major Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, BNCCO presided over the seminar held on Zoom webinar organized by Janipop.

Veteran freedom fighter Masudul Haque Chowdhury was included as the chief guest in the seminar.

As guest of honor in the seminar, the famous teacher of Public Administration Department of Jahangir Nagar University, former head of the department, Professor Dr. Zebunnesa.

Mrs. Hasina Begum was included as a special guest in the seminar.

Prominent women entrepreneur Naima Ferdous and World University of Bangladesh’s Abdullah Al Mahmud were involved as discussants in the seminar.

Sharmin Sultana Shimu, National Volunteer of Janipop was also present in the seminar.

In the president’s speech, Professor Dr.

Kalimullah said, the father of the nation has worked with dedication throughout his life.

Chief guest of the program, brave freedom fighter Masudul Haque Chowdhury said that Bangabandhu had awakened Bengalis step by step since 1948 for the goal of independence. He prepared us in a very systematic and planned manner for the goal of independence. 1954 election, 1962 education movement and 1966 six-point offer, etc. He had to go to jail again and again because of the rights of Pakistani rulers. Bangabandhu was freed in the mass coup of 1969 and won the mandate of the people in the 70 elections. And won an absolute victory and became the prime minister of Pakistan When the Pakistani ruler General Yahya adjourned the session of the National Assembly, Bangabandhu announced the outline of independence in his March 7 speech.

The guest of honor of the seminar is Professor Dr. Jebunnesa said, Abul Fazal Haque mentioned on page 46 of his book – Bangabandhu said sadly, “What can I do? I can’t find a good man anywhere. He steals where he is placed. I selected well-educated boys and made them administrators of various factories. Two days later As soon as they left, they also started stealing. I told whoever I found that I was looking for some dreams.”

In the speech of the special guest, Mrs. Hasina Begum said, if the Awami League leaders and workers who are at the marginal level are given due respect, they will be interested to work with respect. He also said that Bangladesh women should be one team. Bangladesh will roar in protest against the killing of Sheikh Russell.

The seminar was conducted by Kumar Sarkar, PhD researcher of Bangabandhu Science and Technology University, Gopalganj.
