POBNEWS24, Dhaka Aug 8, 2024 : Noble laureate Economist Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus landed today at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) around 2.10pm today to take the charge of the proposed interim government as it’s chief advisor around 8pm today.
Army Chief General Waker-uz Zaman and senior civil and military officials received him at the airport while the military chief introduced him to the top officials of the country.
He is expected to address a select gathering of civil society figures including academics soon.
