POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Fab 2, 2025 : The Meteorological Department has predicted that day and night temperatures may increase across the country in the next 24 hours. The agency also said that air, sea and road communication may be disrupted due to dense fog.
This information was provided in the forecast for the next 72 hours from 9 am on Sunday.
It said that the weather across the country is likely to remain dry with temporarily partly cloudy skies for the next three days.
Light to moderate fog is likely to occur at some places across the country from late night to morning in the next 48 hours. However, moderate to dense fog is likely to occur at some places across the country from midnight to morning in the next 24 hours and may continue till noon. During this time, air traffic, inland river transport and road communication may be temporarily disrupted due to dense fog. Along with this, night and day temperatures may decrease slightly across the country.
The Meteorological Office said that the night temperature across the country tomorrow, Monday, may drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius and may slightly decrease during the day. The next day, Tuesday, the night and day temperatures across the country may slightly increase.
Regarding the extended five-day weather forecast, temperatures may drop at the beginning of this period.
Regarding the synoptic weather conditions, it has been said that the extended part of the subcontinental high pressure area is located over Bihar and adjacent areas.
The normal seasonal low pressure is located in the southern Bay of Bengal.
