POBNEWS24, Desk report, Mar 19, 2026 : Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud has said that Iran’s attack on Saudi energy facilities was a ‘clear attempt at blackmail’ Al Jazeera report.
He said, “It is clear to me that today’s attack was timed to coincide with the conference. The purpose was to intimidate the delegates present and send a message that Iran will not stop.”
Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud added, “All I can say is that we were not afraid. When Iran behaves like this, we do not believe that they can be a legitimate partner in any way. What little trust there was has now been completely shattered.”
