POBNEWS24, Dhaka Nov 5, 2021 :Sri Lanka has already left the T20 World Cup. Dasun Shanakar’s side had another equation in their last match from their group in the Super Twelve against the West Indies in Abu Dhabi today.

If they can beat West Indies, the foreheads of the current champions will also burn. Then the West Indies will also be sure to leave with Sri Lanka. That’s it! West Indies lost to Sri Lanka by 20 runs.

Batting first, Sri Lanka made 169 runs for 3 wickets. The West Indies were in danger of losing 2 wickets for 10 runs in 2 overs. In the third wicket, Nicholas Puran and Roston Chase tried to cope with the disaster.

The duo made a pair of 36 runs from 22 balls. In the last over of the power play, Chamika Karunaratne bowled out her chase (9). West Indies collected 52 for 3 in the last over (sixth). The West Indies needed 118 runs in the last 10 overs to win from here.
