According to the Hajj Bulletin, there are 3,365 government-run and 36,611 private-run pilgrims in Saudi Arabia. Hajj pilgrims went to Saudi on a total of 116 flights.
Among them are 8 flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, 45 flights operated by Saudi Airlines and 5 flights of Flynas.
According to the bulletin, six Bangladeshi pilgrims have died so far. They are- Beauty Begum of Dhaka, Abdul Jalir Khan of Pirgachha of Rangpur, Mosha of Dhanpur of Comilla Adarsh Sadar. The Hajj will be held on July 8 in Saudi Arabia subject to the sighting of the moon. The last flight to Saudi Arabia is on July 3. The return flight after the Hajj will start on July 14. The return flight will end on August 4.
