POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Aug 17, 2022 : Rainfall trend may decrease in different regions of the country including the capital and the day temperature may increase. However, rain is likely to increase towards the end of the week.
This information was informed by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Tuesday. On Tuesday, the temperature across the country was 31 degrees to 35 degrees Celsius.
The forecast for the next 24 hours says that the day temperature may rise further.According to Wednesday’s forecast, some places in Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barisal, Sylhet and Chittagong and one or two places in Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions may receive light to moderate rain.
However, the three-day forecast says that the trend of rainfall may increase towards the end of this period. The land depression is currently located over West Madhya Pradesh and is gradually weakening. Besides, Monsoon is less active over Bangladesh and weak to moderate over North Bay of Bengal.
