POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Mar 7, 2023 : An explosion occurred in a building in the capital’s Gulistan. Two deaths have been reported in this incident. It is feared that the death toll may increase.
Dhaka Medical College Hospital police outpost in-charge Bachchu Mia confirmed this information to Kantha Kal. However, the names of the victims have not yet been found.
The fire service received the report of the explosion at 4:50 pm on Tuesday. 5 units of fire service and civil defense are working at the spot. Fire Service Public Relations Officer Shahjahan Shikder confirmed this information.
30 to 35 people injured in this incident have been taken to Dhaka Medical College (Dhamek) Hospital.
Many people were injured after the explosion. Locals are taking them to the hospital in vans and different vehicles. Locals said that the condition of several of them is critical.
