POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Mar 8, 2023 : Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the fatal explosion in a building near the BRTC bus counter in Gulistan of the capital.
Prime Minister’s Deputy Press Secretary KM Sakhawat Moon informed the matter on Tuesday (March 7) night. In a condolence message, the Prime Minister expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family.
Incidentally, 18 people were killed in an explosion in a building next to the Gulistan BRTC bus stand counter. Dhaka Medical College (Dhamek) confirmed this information to the media from the hospital on Tuesday night.
The victims of the explosion are – Md. Sumon (21), Ishaq Mridha (35), Munsur Hossain (40), Md. Ismail (42), Al Amin (23), Rahat (18), Mominul Islam (38), Nadi Begum (36), Main Uddin (50), Nazmul Hossain (25), Obaidul Hasan Babul (55), Abu Zafar Siddique (34), Akuti Begum (70), Md. Idris (60), Nurul Islam Bhuiya (55), Hriday (20), Samrat and Siam (18).
