POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Mar 16,2023 :  Aarav Khan, the talented DB police killer of Bangladesh, escaped to Dubai on an Indian passport.

It is known that Cricketer Shakib Al Hasan attended the opening ceremony of “Aarav Jewellers” at his property in Dubai at around 7:30 pm local time on Wednesday.

The issue has created a stir in the media of Bangladesh.

However, Shakib Al Hasan left the opening stage within 10 minutes. Bangladesh’s popular YouTuber Ashraful Alam alias Hero Alam, actress Dighi and many others took the stage at the same event.

Shakib and Hero Alam may be interrogated if necessary for the sake of the investigation, said Haroon Or Rashid of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Intelligence Division (DB).

He said this in response to a question from journalists at his office on Thursday afternoon.

Haroon Or Rashid said, “Aarav Khan, the owner of the gold shop, is accused of murder by the police, the matter was informed to Shakib. But why he went to Dubai, it is sad. Shakib and Hero Alam may be interrogated for the sake of investigation.

He said, ‘Inspector Mamun (Mamun Imran Khan) was a brilliant officer of our police. He was not only killed. His body was thrown in the forest of Kaliganj so that it would not be found. A case was registered after this incident, which was investigated by DB. In the case of murder, the accused Arav Khan alias Rabiul Islam escaped, but he put a fake accused in jail.

Later, the case of fake accused came to the fore in DB’s investigation. Among them, the main accused Rabiul Islam alias Aarav Khan, owner of a gold shop in Dubai fled to India. From there, he went to Dubai on an Indian passport.

Haroon Or Rasid said, “We will discuss with the higher-ups and take legal measures to bring Rabiul Islam alias Arav Khan back to the country with the help of Interpol.”

The real name of Arav Khan, the owner of that jewellery, is Rabiul Islam. He is an accused in the murder case of Special Branch (SB) Inspector Mamun Imran Khan.

Earlier, Bangladesh Police had written to Interpol, the international police agency, to return him from Dubai.
