POBNEWS24, Dhaka Oct 28, 2023 : The party has started a mass meeting in front of the central office of BNP in Nayapaltan of the capital to demand the fall of the government. The gathering started with the recitation of the Holy Quran at 12:40 pm on Saturday.
This convention is being held by the joint initiative of Dhaka Metropolitan North and South BNP. BNP Standing Committee member Mirza Abbas is presiding over it. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir is present as the chief guest moderated by Member Secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Aminul Haque and Acting Member Secretary South Liton Mahmud.
Resignation of the fascist Awami government, dissolution of the illegal parliament, formation of a neutral government during the election, re-organization of the election commission and free, fair, impartial and participatory election system under it, release of all royal prisoners including Begum Khaleda Zia, withdrawal of false disappearance cases, cancellation of formal sentences, liberation of the economy. , suffrage and a one-party demand for the restoration of democracy’ organized a mass meeting.
Earlier in the morning, activists from various districts of the country, including Dhaka, started coming to the rally venue with banners and banners. They were holding national and party flags. Wearing different colored caps, they participated in the mass gathering. At this time, the entire Nayapaltan area was full of slogans and processions of activists. Nayapaltan is filled to the brim with the march of activists.
Around 11:15 in the morning, singing and playing started in Nayapaltan to energize the activists. This song was performed under the initiative of Bangladesh Nationalist Social Cultural Organization (Jasas).
The front and surrounding areas of Nayapaltan were covered with poster-banners demanding the success of the mass rally and the release of the leaders of BNP and its affiliates. All these posters-banners demanded the release of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and other leaders.
Meanwhile, without waiting for the permission of the mass meeting, the activists started gathering at the pre-announced venue of the rally in Nayapaltan of the capital from Friday afternoon. Their presence was increasing with time. In the evening, Nayapaltan became very active with the march and slogans of thousands of leaders and activists. Most of these activists came from different parts of the country. Talking to some people, it is known that some of them have moved to Dhaka three to four days ago. Someone came by evading the police checkpoint.
On the other hand, members of the law and order forces are on alert in front of the BNP central office in Nayapaltan and in its surrounding areas around the mass rally. Members of various organizations are also deployed there in white clothes.
