POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Mar 10, 2022 : U.S. officials estimate that between 5,000 and 6,000 Russian troops have been killed in the first two weeks of the offensive in Ukraine. CBS News quoted the BBC as saying.
The number of Russian soldiers wounded could be between 15,000 and 16,000. U.S. officials estimate the death toll is three times the death toll.
A U.S. official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said a significant number of Russian troops had been killed in Ukraine. He said the death toll coincided with some of the fighting during World War II.
Ukraine claims 12,000 Russian soldiers have been killed in fighting. But Russia said last week that the number of its troops killed in Ukraine was five hundred less.
