The minister talked to the waiting passengers at the luggage belt area of the airport and was briefed of their problems after his return from Portugal this (Saturday) morning.
The minister himself witnessed the veracity of sufferings of the waiting passengers for luggage beside the luggage belt.
The passengers were waiting for luggage for two hours.
The minister immediately contacted the airport manager who arrived on the spot and assured the minister of taking steps for solving the problem of late arrival of luggage.
Dr. Momen regretted the issue of stalemate of passengers waiting for luggage for hours at the airport. He termed the incident as disturbing to the passengers.
The minister held the mismanagement of the airport authorizes for the sufferings of the passengers, who come to the airport after a long journey.
Later, Dr. Momen informed State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mohammad Mahbub Ali, who assured him of reducing the sorrows of passengers and increasing the standard of service.
