POBNEWS24, Dhaka Jan 1, 2023 : Different countries around the world welcome the New Year with colorful decorations, fireworks and balloons. At midnight, thousands of people gathered on the streets of various cities to say goodbye to 2022 and welcome 2023.

The Pacific island nation of Kiribati welcomed the new year first due to its geographical location. An hour later, New Zealand welcomed the year 2023. After that, the residents gathered in the streets of Sydney, Australia and welcomed the new year with fireworks. After that, the Christian New Year was also celebrated in Europe, Africa and Asian countries. Being backward in terms of time, the people of America are still waiting for the New Year.
