POBNEWS24, Dhaka, April 22, 2022 : Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Malek said that Bangladesh is preparing for the production of all types of vaccines, not just corona vaccine. Several activities have already been undertaken.
He said this while talking to reporters after inspecting the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) admission test for the 2021-22 academic year at Titumir College in the capital on Friday. A 100-hour BDS admission test is held across the country from 10 am to 11 am.

There are 1405 seats in 12 private dental colleges and medical college dental units and 1950 seats in government and private medical units. Apart from the seats allotted for freedom fighters, tribals and non-tribals, 60% students will get opportunity in national merit and 20% in district quota. The total number of applicants in this year’s examination is 85,908. Of these, 31,035 are in Dhaka alone. The total number of halls for 28 venues in this examination is 929.
