POBNEWS24, Dhaka July 29, 2022 : Prannoy Kumar Vurma has been appointed as the new High Commissioner of India in Bangladesh. He will soon join as the Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh.
On Friday (July 29) afternoon, the Indian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the appointment of a new High Commissioner in Dhaka in a circular.
According to the notification, the current ambassador of India in Vietnam Pranay Kumar Burma has been appointed as the next Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh.
Prannoy Kumar Vurma will replace Indian High Commissioner Vikram Kumar Doraiswamy currently posted in Dhaka. According to Indian media sources, Doraiswamy is going to be appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to the UK.
