Low pressure in the sea, winter in the north

POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Nov 16, 2022 : The Meteorological Department has said that a low pressure is likely to develop in Southeast Bay of Bengal and its surrounding areas by tomorrow Thursday. At the same time, there is no possibility of significant change in the weather in the next five days. At present, the low pressure area is located in North Bay of Bengal.

Meteorologists said that low pressure may be created in the sea on Wednesday.

But it will not have any effect in the country. According to the forecast of the department, light fog may fall in some parts of the country today. Weather over the country will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky. It will keep night and day temperatures almost unchanged across the country.

Meanwhile, the minimum temperature in different parts of the country is 15 to 16 degrees Celsius. In addition to fog in the morning in these regions, there is also a feeling of winter at night. In the north of the country, especially in the Rangpur division, the temperature is staying between 15 and 16 degrees Celsius. Apart from this, some regions of Khulna division and two regions of Barisal and Mymensingh divisions are witnessing fog.
