POBNEWS24, Dhaka, July 20, 2022 : Minorities suffer from lack of trust due to grouping in Bangladesh. They are in conflict as to who will belong to which group. Hence, a section of opportunity seekers has infiltrated into various minority groups.

As a result, various types of attacks on minorities are gradually increasing. Recently, such information was revealed over the construction of a temple of ISKCON. Hindu organizations clashed against each other.

A group called ‘Hindu Buddhist Christian Oikya Parishad’ is working in Bangladesh.

If any criminal incident happens in the country, the responsibility of it rests on the government. This group (Hindu Buddhist Christian Oikya Parishad) has been controversial in Bangladesh. They are accused of taking crores of takas from the government in the name of protecting the interests of minorities.

Rajbari district is about 100 km away from capital Dhaka. This information came out over the construction of an ISKCON temple in this district headquarters.

Rajbari District unit General Secretary Joydev Karmakar purchased five decimal land in the name of ISKCON temple in Bhavanipur of Rajbari on 20/12/2020. Its document No. is 8964.

The property next to that land belongs to a minority person named Bhola Master. There is a footpath leading to the purchased property of the temple, which passes over the Bhola Master’s land. The route has been used by the public for the past 25/30 years.

But the most unfortunate thing is that during the construction of the temple, the heirs of Bhola Master built a wall suddenly in the dark of night to block the road leading to the temple.

Later, when the matter came to the notice of the devotees, they along with general secretary of ISKCON’s Rajbari district Joydev Karmakar demolished the wall.

Later, the workers of various Hindu organizations including Hindu Buddhist Christian Oikya Parishad, District Puja Celebration Parishad attacked the ISKCON temple and again blocked the road by raising walls.

A case was also filed in Rajbari court against ISKCON general secretary Joydev Karmakar.

Recently, the court dismissed the case and granted bail to Joydev Karmakar, calling it false.

Joydev Karmakar told this correspondent, “While building the ISKCON temple, I was surprised to see the current attitude of the minority organizations.”

He said that the Rajbari incident has tarnished the image of ISKCON not only in Bangladesh but also in the whole world.

On the other hand, the heirs of Bhola Master claimed that Joydev Karmakar is doing business in the name of ISKCON temple.

Currently, a tense situation has been prevailing in the area over the ISKCON temple.

President of Jatiya Hindu Mohajot Govindra Chandra Pramanik said that as the conflict between the minority organizations increases and the entente with the government increases, the minorities will be deprived of their rights in Bangladesh.

He said, minorities suffer from lack of trust due to grouping in Bangladesh.
