POBNEWS24, Desk report New Delhi May 12, 2025 : Operation ‘Sindoor’ is not over yet. It has been temporarily suspended at the request of Islamabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said this in his address to the nation on Monday night. He said, ”Pakistan has appealed to the whole world after being severely beaten by the Indian army. On May 10, the DGMO of the Pakistan Army called the Indian DGMO and said, ”There will be no more terrorist activities and military activities. After this, India has considered the matter (ceasefire).”
On the night of May 6, in response to the Pahalgaon massacre on April 22, the Indian army attacked nine terrorist camps in Pakistan’s Punjab province and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. After that, this is the first time Modi has spoken publicly. In his address to the nation on Buddha Purnima, he said, ”This is not an era of war. But this is not an era of terrorism either. Terrorism and talks cannot go together. Terrorism and trade cannot go together. It cannot go on. Blood and water cannot flow together.” In this case, many believe that he has tactfully conveyed India’s position on the Indus Treaty by raising the issue of ‘water’.
Modi claims that the Pahelgaon incident is a big example of state-sponsored terrorism. We have defeated Pakistan in every battlefield. We have also proven that superiority in ‘Operation Sindoor’. He identified the Lashkar-e-Taiba headquarters Markaz Taiba in Muridke, Pakistan Punjab and the main base of Jaish-e-Mohammed in Markaz Shuwan Allah in Bahawalpur as ‘universities of terrorism’ and said, ”From 9/11, the British metro blast (7/7) to 26/11, all the terrorism has its link with those places in Pakistan. We have destroyed that headquarters of terrorism.”
Indian Army’s operation in response to the Pahelgaon terror Claiming that Pakistan was nervous after the Sindoor, Modi said, “They attacked India instead of joining the war on terror. Pakistan targeted our schools, colleges, temples, gurudwaras, and homes of ordinary citizens. They failed there too. The world saw how Pakistan’s drones and missiles were reduced to dust by India. They were destroyed in the sky. They could not have imagined what was done to Pakistan in three days. That is why they are looking for a way to survive. They have traveled from country to country.”
Modi said, Our army is always alert. From the sky to the water to the ground – we are ready everywhere.
