When contacted, Railway Minister Nurul Islam told Prothom Alo that the passenger train was closed even before the holiday. Will be closed again. However, the emergency freight train will continue. It was also on the previous holiday. However, these issues will be clarified in the notification of lockdown.
At night, State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain told Prothom Alo that public transport would be closed in the lockdown. However, emergency services such as ambulances, etc. will run. Food trains and food trucks will also run.
