POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Nov 9, 2021 :Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has left for Paris, the capital of France, on Tuesday after completing her official visits to Glasgow and London. Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said a VVIP flight (BG-2107) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the Prime Minister and her entourage left Heathrow International Airport at 9:24 am local time.
Bangladesh High Commissioner to the United Kingdom Saida Muna bade farewell to the Prime Minister at Tasnim Airport. The flight is scheduled to land at Charles de Gaulle Airport at 11:15 a.m. today (local time).
Earlier on November 3, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in London from Glasgow after attending the World Leaders Summit Cup-26 and other events. The Prime Minister called upon the UK expatriates of Bangladeshi descent to work for the welfare of the country and its people.
Prime Minister’s Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said this while addressing a gathering of expatriates in front of Sheikh Hasina’s residence in London. Before leaving the residence for the airport, the Prime Minister told the expatriates that he would meet them again once the epidemic was over. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in Glasgow on October 31 for a two-week visit to the United Kingdom and France.
