POBNEWS24, Desk report, Dec 10, 2021: Aspia Islam Kajal, a resident of Hijla Upazila, passed a seven-step examination in Barisal district for the post of Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC). Has become fifth in the merit list. However, according to the police report, ‘landless’ Aspia Islam Kajal. This is the obstacle to get his job. 

Aspia sat for a long time at the gate of Barisal Police Lines on Wednesday in despair. That picture goes viral on social media. Discussions on the issue have been going on across the country since last Wednesday. The Prime Minister has noticed that Aspia. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sent instructions to the local administration for this.

Barisal Deputy Commissioner Jasim Uddin Haider said, ‘Secretary to the Prime Minister’s Office. Tofazzal Hossain Mia Sir called on Friday (December 10) morning. He said the issue of Aspia has come to the notice of the Prime Minister. Aspia has instructed to build a house on government land so that she can get a job as a constable.

The deputy commissioner further said, “Hijla’s UNO has been asked to determine the location of land for Aspia on the instructions of the Prime Minister. We hope to build a house for Aspire soon.

Meanwhile, a reliable police source said that the Prime Minister’s Office has directed to take steps so that Aspia Islam Kajal can get a job as a police constable.

Hijla Upazila Nirbahi Officer Bakul Chandra Kabiraj said, “I visited khas land in different areas of the upazila in the afternoon to build houses for Aspia. A few percent land has been found in Barajalia union of the upazila. Initially it was decided to build a house there. However, the matter has not been finalized yet. The work will start after getting the opinion of the deputy commissioner sir.

Barisal District Police Trainee Recruit Constable (TRC) Recruitment Committee Chairman District Police Superintendent. Maruf Hossain said, “Aspire’s appointment as a police constable has not been canceled. Her permanent address was incorrectly mentioned in the recruitment application. The matter comes up in verification. But he will not have a job, it was never said. Things are being considered within the rules so that Aspia is not deprived of employment for this reason.

Landless Aspia is getting a place to go. At the same time getting a police job. Which was said to be landless in uncertainty. On the instructions of the Prime Minister, arrangements are being made for him to get a police job with government land. On the instructions of the Prime Minister, Barisal Deputy Commissioner asked the Hijla Upazila administration to find government land for construction of house for Aspia.
