POBNEWS24, Dhaka Oct 3, 2023 : Commander Khandaker Al Moin, director of RAB’s law and media wing, said RAB is not thinking about visa policy. We are working to create a society free of militants and terrorism.
He said this in response to the questions of journalists at RAB’s media center at a press conference at RAB’s media center in Kawran Bazar in the capital on Tuesday (October 3). The visa policy has created uneasiness among the members of the law enforcement agencies.
When asked if there is any discomfort within the RAB, Commander Moin said that the visa policy he is talking about was imposed in December 2021 against the RAB including 7 senior officers of the RAB. which is still ongoing. So this issue (visa policy) is not new. We believe that since the establishment of RAB, we have been working to create a society free from terrorism. We are working as usual.
He said that the visa policy is specific to a country. They are acting on their discretion. We are doing our duty. Still working in case something sensational happens. RAB has even uprooted a militant organization like Jamatul Ansar Al Hindal Sharqiya. We are not worried about that. We are doing our job.
