Asked if there would be a seat crisis in colleges and universities with the number of students who have passed, he said, “We don’t think there will be a seat crisis.” The idea that we all have to do Honors-Masters is not found anywhere in the world. The new universities that are being set up in the districts mean that they will take some time to come.
Regarding the admission test, the minister said that the admission test should be in the syllabus on which SSC and HSC examinations have been conducted, otherwise injustice will be done to the students.
This time a total of 13 lakh 61 thousand 81 candidates have passed the HSC and equivalent examinations with the participation of 13 lakh six thousand 618 people. Of these, one lakh 79 thousand 189 people got GPA-5. Compared to last time, 26 thousand 372 people got GPA-5 more this time.
