POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Feb 10,2022: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called upon all to work from their respective positions to continue the progress of development in the country.
He made the call while addressing the 42nd National Rally of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Forces on Thursday (February 10). The Prime Minister took part in a video conference from Ganobhaban at the rally organized at Safipur Ansar VDP Academy in Gazipur.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, ‘I am taking Bangladesh forward.
I hope that everyone will make efforts for the continuation of this development of Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a country of peace. We believe in peace. If there is a peaceful environment, the country develops. And the development of the country means the development of every family. We want every family to live well, to live well – that is what we want. That is why it is so important to have a peaceful environment. ‘
Highlighting the plans and programs for building a prosperous Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina said, “What will be the future of Bangladesh? We will build a developed and prosperous Bangladesh in 1941. We have formulated a visionary plan.” Based on this, we have started the implementation work by formulating a five-year plan. We did not stop there, we also took our centenary program – Delta Plan 2100. ‘
He said, “I have come up with a plan to protect this deltaic region from the effects of climate change and to ensure a better life for the people of this country.” ‘
The head of government said, ‘We are planning till 2100 so that no one can ever hinder this progress of Bangladesh. We are moving forward, we will move forward. As our per capita income has increased, we have been able to increase growth. The economy is getting stronger enough. I think you have contributed enough in this case. We hope that everyone will work together. ‘
At the 42nd National Rally of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, 182 members of the force were awarded medals in different categories for their meritorious contribution. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal handed over the medals on behalf of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
The Prime Minister inaugurated several development projects including ‘Mujib Premises’ at Ansar VDP Academy in a video conference.
