POBNEWS24, Dhaka, Mar 20, 2022 : In the reality of Russia-Ukraine war, the United States wants to work with Bangladesh to address the threat of violation of democracy and international law. That’s according to Victoria Nuland, the State Department’s undersecretary of state for politics.
This was stated by Victoria Nuland at the 8th Partnership Dialogue between Bangladesh and the United States on Sunday. He said the United States is interested in developing relations with Bangladesh.
The two countries will work together on the global situation and human rights issues.
Earlier, the eighth partnership dialogue between Bangladesh and the United States began at 11:30 am on Sunday at the state guest house Padma. Foreign Secretary Masud bin Momen is leading Bangladesh in today’s meeting. The US delegation is led by Victoria Nuland, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs.
Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland arrived in Bangladesh on Saturday to attend the meeting. He will meet Foreign Minister Momen today after the partnership dialogue. After Bangladesh, he will visit India and Sri Lanka.
