POBNEWS24, Dhaka Nov 28, 2021 : The Prime Minister and Leader of the House Sheikh Hasina has said that Bangladesh is moving forward by overcoming all obstacles and conspiracies. Everyone should be careful so that no one else can stop this trend of progress.
He said there would be many conspiracies. We have to keep them in mind. No matter the criticism, we are working and will continue to work to change the destiny of the people of Bangladesh. Bangladesh is moving forward. Will move forward.
This was stated by Leader of the House Sheikh Hasina in her concluding remarks on Sunday (November 26). Throughout the part of the speech, he highlighted the overall context of Bangladesh’s transition from a least developed country to a developing country and the steps taken by the government in this regard.
Noting that graduation from Least Developed Countries to Developing Countries is very important, the Prime Minister said it has been possible to implement our plan. We have made efforts for the overall development of the people. This achievement is a great honor for us on the golden jubilee of independence and the birth centenary of the father of the nation. This is a rare honor and unique achievement of the Bengali nation. We have been able to achieve success because we have moved forward with specific goals. There has been a lot of criticism. We have moved forward with the desired goal without listening to criticism. I am running the state with the right direction.
Referring to the last three parliamentary elections, Sheikh Hasina said, “People have achieved the status of a developing country by winning the Awami League in every election.” We can do this easily, but it is not. This journey has never been easy. We have had to deal with many obstacles. There has been a lot of criticism. The BNP has not yet withdrawn the activities of burning people, setting fire to cars, arson, strikes and blockades in the name of the movement.
He said that various obstacles have been created to create obstacles in the way of development. At the same time natural disasters have to be dealt with. Then we had to deal with this Kovid-19 epidemic. When the wheel of the world economy comes to a standstill, we keep it moving. As a result, the country’s economy is moving forward. Our goal is to make Bangladesh a developed and prosperous country by 2041. That is why we have made a perspective plan. If it can be implemented, the people of Bangladesh will have a beautiful life.
The Prime Minister said Bangladesh would have been a developing country within 10 years of independence if Bangabandhu had survived. Those who came to power after the assassination of the father of the nation – General Zia, General Ershad or Begum Zia said, they did not want to develop the country. Power was the object of their enjoyment and luxurious life. They created a class by squandering the remnants of power. No one has come forward to change the destiny of the common man.
Sheikh Hasina said, “We will get the same benefits as the developing countries, on the other hand, we will not get the opportunities of the least developed countries.” Of course, we have taken time till 2026 to make up for the loss of Corona. This has created an opportunity to brand Bangladesh all over the world.
The Prime Minister also mentioned that the people of the country have achieved the status of a developing country.
Referring to the murder of Bangabandhu and his family, the daughter of Bangabandhu said in an emotional voice that she had to give her life in the hands of the Bengali nation for whom the father of the nation had sacrificed his whole life.
Regarding taking charge of the party at that time, Sheikh Hasina said, “I came back to the country to fulfill my father’s dream by risking my life knowing everything.” We are working towards that goal. Repeatedly hurt, but I do not know why God Almighty saved time and time again. Having the opportunity to serve, I have been able to elevate Bangladesh to a status.
