According to the police, the presence of a suspicious fishing trawler was noticed on the ship’s radar during the regular patrolling of the Bangladesh Navy and Coast Guard on October 17. After analyzing the data, it was identified as a foreign-flagged trawler. At that time, when they realized the presence of the local administration and tried to run away, the navy and coast guard members chased and arrested the trawler in three Bangladeshi waters.
