POBNEWS24, Dhaka Aug 2, 2025 : Farida Akhtar, advisor to the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock, has said that elections cannot be held without trial of Sheikh Hasina or the interim government cannot hand over power to any other government.
She told reporters on Saturday (August 2).
Farida Akhtar said, Bangladesh should not be called Bangladesh 2.0, Bangladesh is one. The interim government cannot hand over power to any other government without trial of Sheikh Hasina.
The livestock advisor said, one party is rushing to hand over power without carrying out any reforms in the state. Just changing the government will not achieve the goal.
