Certificate Awarding Ceremony Held for Russian Language Short Course at DIU

By Mir Afroz Zaman POBNEWS24, Dhaka Dec 10, 2025 : Daffodil International University (DIU) hosted the Certificate Awarding Ceremony for the Short Course on the Russian Language, conducted from 6 October to 25 November 2025 by a professor from Saint Petersburg State University. A total of 48 participants successfully completed the program and received their certificates.
The course was offered by Saint Petersburg State University and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, with support from DIU’s Office of International Affairs and the Russian House in Dhaka.
Ms. Alexandra Khlevnoy, Director of the Russian House in Dhaka, attended the ceremony as the Chief Guest and personally handed over the certificates to the participants. In her remarks, she highlighted upcoming joint cultural and educational activities, opportunities under the Russian Government Scholarship, and future academic pathways for Bangladeshi students in Russia.
Certificates were also awarded to participants of the Volunteer Internship Program – VIP (Season 6). The event concluded with a group photo session, a campus tour and a courtesy meeting with the DIU International Affairs team.
